Aspherical Optics

Precision Aspherical Optics: Custom-Made for Extreme Applications from UV to IR.

Extreme Precision

Advanced interferometric testing and CGH metrology ensure micron-level accuracy for complex aspheric surfaces.

Large-Scale Capability

Manufacturing of oversized optics up to 1200mm diameter, including meter-class telescopes and beam expanders.

Material Expertise

Working with premium substrates like Zerodur, ULE, and ClearCeram-Z for superior thermal and mechanical stability.

Custom Engineering

Build-to-spec and build-to-print solutions across full spectrum from X-Ray to IR, including complex off-axis designs.

About Aspherical lenses

Aspherical lenses

InfraOptics manufactures and supplies Aspherical mirrors and Aspherical lenses. Optical elements for X-Ray, UV, VIS, IR range can be manufactured build-to-spec and build-to-print. Optical substrates are Optical Glass, Fused Silica, Ohara ClearCeram-Z®, Schott Zerodur®, Corning ULE®.

InfraOptics offers Aspherical mirrors, incl. off-axis mirrors diam. 50 mm – 1000 mm, asphericity up to 300 – 400 µm, for mirrors diam. 50 mm – 150 mm max. asphericity can achieve 2 – 10 µm accordingly, and Aspherical lenses incl. off-axis lenses diam. 200 – 700 mm.

Wavefront measurement is performed with Interferometric null test and/or Computer Generated Hologram (CGH), monitoring can also be performed with no wavefront adjusters, e.g. in autocollimation layout.

Our capabilities include:

✅ Aspherical mirrors, including off-axis, with a diameter of up to 1200 mm, made of any materials;

✅ Aspherical Transmissive optics with a diameter of up to 600 mm, including off-axis;

✅ Reference Flats & Mirrors with a diameter of up to 1200 mm;

✅ On-axis and off-axis Cassegrain, Ritchey-Chretien, and Dall Kirkham telescopes and laser beam expanders.

We have the experience and equipment necessary to manufacture, align, and assemble telescope optics up to Ø1500mm including meter-class Ritchey-Chretien, Cassegrain, or Mersenne telescopes. Our process can support light-weighted substrates, and our technicians have hands on experience fabricating this type of mirror.
